On July 3–4, 2025, a strategic session of the Association of Relatives of Kremlin Political Prisoners was held at UNIT.City (Kyiv), bringing our team together to strengthen key areas of work: documentation, research, OSINT investigations, legal aid, and advocacy.
During the session, participants focused on:
– updating the organization’s operational plan;
– enhancing the effectiveness of documenting war crimes;
– introducing new approaches to open-source intelligence for locating missing and illegally detained civilians;
– discussing models of cooperation with legal experts, analysts, and partner organizations;
– laying the groundwork for a future initiative that will serve as a support space for families of civilian hostages and those released from captivity.
These two days of intensive team collaboration helped build a shared vision of our priorities, improved coordination, and laid the foundation for new projects and partnerships.
This event was made possible with the support of the Norwegian Helsinki Committee (NHC).
