This analytical review for June 2026 is based on an analysis of seventeen testimonies regarding unlawful deprivation of liberty, enforced disappearances, incommunicado detention, torture, and other forms of ill-treatment, unlawful displacement of civilians, politically motivated criminal prosecution, and violations of the right to a fair trial. The testimonies cover events from 2022 to 2026 in the temporarily occupied territories of the Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, Kharkiv, and Kyiv regions, as well as the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, and the subsequent detention of the victims in the Russian Federation.
