Biography

Arsen Abkhairov was born on October 12, 1985 in the city of Bekabad, Tashkent region, Uzbekystan.

In 1992, Abkhairov's family returned to Crimea, to the village of Amurske, Krasnohvardiiske district. Arsen started to study at school in Amurske, and then moved to the gymnasium in the village of Zhovtneve. Since childhood, he was an independent child and helped his parents in household.

In October 2015, he got married, has two children.

Arsen Abkhairov and two other Crimean Tatars were detained in February 2019 in the village of Zhovtneve, Krasnohvardiiske district of Crimea. FSS of Russia claimed that the Crimeans were involved in the activities of the Hizb ut-Tahrir organization, forbidden in Russia and annexed Crimea.

On November 3, 2020, the Southern District Military Court in Rostov-on-Don, convicted three defendants of the Krasnohvardiiske group of "Hizb ut-Tahrir case". Arsen Abkhairov was sentenced to 13 years with the first 2 years in prison.
