Biography

Abdulkadyrov Vladlen Vasyliovych was born on December 28, 1979, in a family of workers in the city of Namangan, Uzbekystan. After school, he completed computer courses.

Returning to Crimea in 2001, he received Ukrainian citizenship, and in 2014 - forced Russian citizenship.

From 2004 to 2015, he worked as a manager of warehouse of the of "MARS" and "Construction Company" products. For the last few years he has been repairing mobile phones.

In 2009, he got married. The young family has 3 minor daughters.

Since 2016, Vladlen began to take an active part in the life of his people. Living in the village of Strohanivka, he and his fellow villagers managed to establish a children's playground in the district, the construction of which was not finished due to the arrest.

Vladlen also made a great contribution to the organization and holding of children's and Muslim festive events. He took an active part in the upgrading of the village, helped the families of prisoners. He attended the trials of compatriots, and involved in passing parcels to pre-trial detention centers, helped with trips to Rostov-on-Don for wives and relatives of political prisoners.

The Southern District Military Court of Rostov-on-Don in the person of the presiding judge Rizvan Zubairov rendered a guilty verdict against Vladlen Abdulkadyrov, sentencing him to 12 years of imprisonment in a strict regime colony with the first 5 years in prison.

In prison, Vladlen's health condition is getting worse. His liver is suffering from inadequate nutrition, his eyesight is deteriorating, and his kidneys started to bother him.

Vladlen is recognized as a political prisoner by Russian human rights centre “Memorial”.
